My 1st week.....

Whoa.... Im really so tired after my course.... Almost everyday came home around 9pm and have to reach Civil Defence Academy by 7.30am.... Really so tired.... and exhausted..... Well, its really fun for me joining this new CCA as I get to learn new skills and stuffs like that.... Really really interesting and I get to meet people from all walks of life.... I met a girl who is a volunteer from MENDAKI, a guy who is a vice-chairman from a certain mosque, a girl from NUS who is giving me advice wat to do after 'O' levels and lastly, people from other parts of S'pore.... whoa.... really really nice man!!! Im so happy and excited...hehe...

Lets start to wat I did on the first day....On Monday, the instructors will do the standard stuffs like admin, logistics and introduction.... got talk here and there, introduce us to NCDCC and make us feel comfortable.... But, it doesnt seem like it will comfort us the whole course.... Well, my Camp Commander, LTA Abbas started to screw us up on the second day onwards.... Scold us on small mistakes, lack of initiative, uniform untidy, boots not black enough and some other small small things.... But i dont care as long as i noe my mistakes.... haha..... This is part and parcel of the course....

Well..... actually i really learn a lot in the course.... i noe how to rescue ppl, rescue ppl in confined spaces, extinguish fire by using the hose reel and the fire extinguisher, the proper method to encounter a room filled with fire, the behaviour of different types of fire, use the First Aid Dressing (FAD) to treat serious and excessive bleeding and etc etc etc....... Still have to learn some other stuffs which have not been covered yet like CPR, Cardio Pulmonery Resuscitation, and using the BA ( Breathing Apparatus) suit to go in the Chemical Agent Chamber to test us if they threw a tear gas.... I really cant wait coz... IM SO EXCITED!!!!! HAHAHA...... really learn a lot....

Well, tats all for today..... Now i have to get back to my 6cm thickness of notes to study and practice my first aid.... haha....
